Silicone Wound Contact Dressing

Ceka MED silicone wound contact layer is an open-mesh, soft silicone dressing that allows exudate to pass through to the secondary dressing. It has been developed for the treatment of a wide range of wounds, particularly dry to heavily exuding wounds. The specially designed wound dressing ensures atraumatic removal, reducing pain and skin irritation.

Unhindered

The open mesh allows medium to large amounts of exudate to pass into the secondary dressing. This ensures effective absorption and prevents the wound edges from becoming macerated.

Flexible and soft

The silicone dressing can be cut into various shapes or sizes to fit different wound sites, allowing for flexible and individualized adaptation. Additionally, the soft silicone dressing ensures painless and irritation-minimizing removal.

Indications

The Silicone Wound Contact Dressing is suitable for a wide range of wounds, such as:

  • Pressure ulcers
  • Leg and foot ulcers
  • Traumatic wounds

The dressing can also be used in combination with topical treatments/hydrogels and in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy. It can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds, blisters and areas with fragile skin.
