Superabsorbent dressing pads with silicone

Ceka Med Super absorbent dressing is a sterile dressing for use on high exuding wounds, consisting of one permeable and waterproof nonwoven layer, a super absorbent pad layer and a hydro-penetrating nonwoven layer. The triple-layered construction facilitates fluid management to provide the optimal moist wound environment which leads to the promotion of faster wound closure.

Dressing with excellent capacity for use on moderately to heavily exuding wounds

Consists of a breathable and waterproof nonwoven backing, a super absorbent padding layer and a hydropenetrating nonwoven contact layer. Facilitates fluid management and promotes faster wound healing. The super absorbent pad builds a moisture barrier system that has excellent absorption and keeps exudates out.

    • Indications

  • The superabsorbent dressing is indicated for the treatment of moderately to heavily exuding wounds, including: Leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and dehisced surgical wounds.


    • Contraindications

  • Do not use on dry or low exuding wounds, eyes, mucous membranes or in wound cavities as the dressing will swell during absorption. Do not use on third degree burns.
  • Should not be used in persons with known allergy or hypersensitivity to the dressing or its components.
