Paraffin gauze dressing

Ceka Med Paraffin gauze dressing is a disposable sterile product, which mainly consists of paraffin and gauze. Paraffin is not hydrophilic and can not be absorbed, when it covers the wound. It protects and isolates the wound to make the water in the wound not volatile, keeps skin moist and prevents wound contact with the bacteria in the air. Paraffin gauze dressing does not adhere to the wound when changing the dressing and can effectively protect the wound from secondary injury.

  • Contraindications

  • Do not suit the wound with lots exudates.

  • Precautions

  • Paraffin Gauze Dressing can be used after unsealing, but it is not allowed to be reused, in case of cross infection.
